Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil,  thousands of converts are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This is the process of adult initiation into the Catholic Church. It is intended for non-baptized adults from other faith traditions, and baptized Catholics who need to complete the Sacraments.

Additional information about RCIA from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is available here.
