Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a worldwide organization of Catholic Men at least 18 years of age and are practicing Catholics working together to serve their churches, communities and the world. The organization was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut.
There are 160 councils throughout the state of Colorado, 15 of them in Colorado Springs alone. Many of the councils do similar, if not the same activities throughout the year. Here at St. Dominic’s, Holy Family Council 4636, we focus on charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism and defense of The Catholic Church. We envision our organization as sharing our gifts of time, talent and treasure in order to be an effective center providing spiritual, economic, and emotional support to our parishioners, visitors, the poor and other members of our community who are in need of charitable works.
We are dedicated, with the involvement of our families, to helping Catholic Families spiritually grow in their faith and defend their beliefs. Through strong volunteerism, our members endeavor to serve others while supporting each other in order to live our lives to become faithful citizens in our communities and to live our lives in charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.

The Court of the Holy Family here at St Dominic has helped stock our food pantry, provide financial support for our Seminarians, assist with seasonal projects to support families in our parish and beyond, and to be helpful as and where needed.
Our meetings are held at 1:00 PM on the first Saturday of each month from September through June. You are welcome to join us at one of our meetings to see what we are about, and fill out an application to become a member.

Catholic Mothers of Faith
“If you put all the love of all the mothers into one heart. It still would not equal the love of the Heart of Mary for her children.” St. Louis Marie de Montfort.
Mission Statement: Mothers find community here through Christ and with each other. With this group we can encourage each other, pray with and for each other, share stories about the family and our children in prayer, and find support. Mothers can do all through Christ. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” St. Teresa of Calcutta.
